Gingham is a girl's best friend!

This brown/beige gingham skirt (thrift store) acts as a solid, but with more interest. Paired with a spicy clove T-shirt(thrift store), necklace(made by Susan), stone earrings(yard sale) & wood inlay silver leaf ring(clearance from online store), it is the perfect balance of early autumn tones.

~At the office, I mainly worked on the newsletter, making the final edits, printing, collating, stapling, addressing & even got some folded/taped/stamped. I also worked on bulletins & prayers.

~Mike texted me he was closing so I took him a PB/AB wrap & a cola.

Priceless

Pick your tool & learn how to use it.

~I stopped at Big Lots for a revolving shoe rack to use as a hat display at my 2 art shows. I helped Chuck load 20 bags at the food pantry & called in Payroll. A stop at Albertsons for Dark Cocoa & a final stop to recycle my aluminum before heading home.

~Back home, I made a pan of fudge brownies & put together the hat rack. It has a weighted bottom for stability & is very heavy. I did have to put paper plates in the trays to keep the hats from falling through, but it seems like it will work. Luckily, our next door neighbor was getting rid of a rolling suitcase that is just the right size to hold the box the rack came in. It is easy enough to assemble at the shows.

~I made a pair of Wristers in LBWE Blue Heather, a Roseburg Hat in RHS Country Rose/Rose Pink/Light Sage, a Fruit Snuggie in Mainstays Blue Ridge & worked a little on scrap squares.

Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth. Psalm 96:9

Lechuguilla Cave-Carlsbad Caverns-NM

~I don't normally work on Mondays, but I have DHT class on Wed/Thur, so I am working today/tomorrow, 9-5. I did alot of the stuff I normally do on Tuesdays, like working on the bulletins, Prayers & Oct. newsletter. Along with that, I gave a way one food bag & spent quite a bit of time on stewardship stuff. Trying to merge 2 programs(Word & Excel)did not work, so I actually printed out a pie chart from Excel, trimmed it with a paper cutter & glue-sticked it to the Word document, printed it & sent it via PDF for approval. Talk about old-school! But, it kept me busy all day.
