~Right after breakfast, I made Cameron's Turtle Brownies & swept the floors.
~I stopped by the grocery store for milk & bread before dropping off the Food Pantry bag.
~Back home, I made a girls beanie in Blue Violet with an edging & tassel top in LB Fun Fur Raspberry. This is a fun hat!
~At 4pm, I headed up to the church to help set up for the concert tonight. It was me, & 2 others. I guess we're in charge. I went home to change clothes, then Mike & I went back up to the church. We helped with the 2 others with refreshments. The concert was awesome! We helped break down.
~Mike drove me to work. Ms. Jeannine came in with cookies for the concert & edits on the bulletins. I got them done, along with prayers. I did get bulletins for next week mostly done, along with prayers for the rest of the month. I helped Fr. Jim alot with the stewardship booklet, designing the pages.
~Date Nite: After warmups, we worked on reloading-shoot two/reload/shoot two, shoot two/reload/switch to off hand/head shot, etc. I only fumbled up once.
Granny Square lap blanket in Red/Scrap for St. Mary's Prayer Shawl Ministry
~We went to the office early to finish up the newsletters for mailing. We attended the 10:00 A.M. Deacon's Mass. The Food Fair & Bazaar meeting after was productive, as we have a timeline schedule for everything. I spent the rest of the afternoon working on stewardship mailing list, bulletins & readings.
~The printer in my home office stopped working last week,so Mike got our computer networking & now I can use his nicer one in the "Man Cave".
This brown/beige gingham skirt (thrift store) acts as a solid, but with more interest. Paired with a spicy clove T-shirt(thrift store), necklace(made by Susan), stone earrings(yard sale) & wood inlay silver leaf ring(clearance from online store), it is the perfect balance of early autumn tones.
~At the office, I mainly worked on the newsletter, making the final edits, printing, collating, stapling, addressing & even got some folded/taped/stamped. I also worked on bulletins & prayers.
~Mike texted me he was closing so I took him a PB/AB wrap & a cola.
~I made a toddler beanie in RHS Pale Green/unknown Fruit Smoothies. I also worked on scrap squares.
~I stopped at Big Lots for a revolving shoe rack to use as a hat display at my 2 art shows. I helped Chuck load 20 bags at the food pantry & called in Payroll. A stop at Albertsons for Dark Cocoa & a final stop to recycle my aluminum before heading home.
~Back home, I made a pan of fudge brownies & put together the hat rack. It has a weighted bottom for stability & is very heavy. I did have to put paper plates in the trays to keep the hats from falling through, but it seems like it will work. Luckily, our next door neighbor was getting rid of a rolling suitcase that is just the right size to hold the box the rack came in. It is easy enough to assemble at the shows.
~I made a pair of Wristers in LBWE Blue Heather, a Roseburg Hat in RHS Country Rose/Rose Pink/Light Sage, a Fruit Snuggie in Mainstays Blue Ridge & worked a little on scrap squares.
~I did a load of laundry, sorted veggies, made a batch of bacon & used the Pumkin Spice Bread mix to make 6 big muffins. All but one stuck to the bottom, even though I sprayed them! Oh, well, I guess the Napa Boys are getting muffins tomorrow.

Sedona Hat in Waterlily/Cream Both hats purchased by Terry in CO for her mother in CA going through chemo.
~Another day at the range! Noticeable improvement amongst all the students. Three stayed to watch some "Date Nite" shooting. After warmups, we did timed drills. Three-yard line, two to the body, 1.51,not my best time, but faster than it has been in a long time. Fun day, but very tiring.
~Mike & I helped out at the CCW Draw Class. Three of the twelve people signed up didn't show(?), but those who did were very attentive. A very diverse group with a lawyer, ranch owner, EMT/Fireman, pilot, retire couple, and an Episcopal priest(awesome!!).
I sold a Crunch Beanie in Funshine/Sky Dive to Beth in CA
~After final edits on the bulletins, I got them printed/folded inserted quickly. I also printed 25 bulletins for The Blessing of the Animals, printed a rough draft of the October newsletter, did some Brotherhood of St. Andrew paperwork, did some stewardship stuff, loaded 15 bags at the Food Pantry.
~I don't normally work on Mondays, but I have DHT class on Wed/Thur, so I am working today/tomorrow, 9-5. I did alot of the stuff I normally do on Tuesdays, like working on the bulletins, Prayers & Oct. newsletter. Along with that, I gave a way one food bag & spent quite a bit of time on stewardship stuff. Trying to merge 2 programs(Word & Excel)did not work, so I actually printed out a pie chart from Excel, trimmed it with a paper cutter & glue-sticked it to the Word document, printed it & sent it via PDF for approval. Talk about old-school! But, it kept me busy all day.
~I added the last 5 squares to the Stained Glass lap blanket.
...of Ms. Edla, who went to be with the Lord in May. She willed the scarf to me, along with a Dusty Rose suede jacket. I had never worn a scarf before, but did on the day of her memorial service. It started out with the Quarterly Parish Planning Meeting, which consists of going over the church schedule calendar for the next 3 months, followed by Acolyte training, which for me was SubDeacon training, along with Thurifer training(carrying incense). I picked up a few groceries, dropped off JF's food bag & finally picked up my black boots from the repair shop. The heel cap was coming off, which they repaired, but they also polished them up & they look brand new! For less than I expected, too!
~I made a Cheyenne Hat, holding one strand each together, Caron Simply Soft Gray Heather/unknown off-white fingering acrylic/mohair, adding a rose pin in Red Heart Supersaver Burgundy.
~Mike took me to work & stayed to help with the bannister project. I got the bulletins printed out & spent the rest of the day working on smaller projects. Mike was done by about 1:30pm, with sawdust all over him!
~Date Nite: Was off all evening until I realized my holster position was off, so not getting a good grip. Also, trying to fire with pad of finger not joint, which helped alot.

~I stopped by Big Lots before heading up to the church to call in payroll. Chuck & me won't be loading food bags until Wednesday. I dropped off mail at Susan's, bought new clockworks at Hobby Lobby & was going to stop by Goodwill, but it was closed! Lucy had told me on Saturday that they were moving, but all the stuff was still in the store.
~Back home, I used a bake mix from Big Lots (1/2 price) for Cinnamon Swirl Bread, using my 6-count big muffin pan. They smell yummy!

~I went up to the church around 10am & there was a dove in the Parish Hall. I shooed it out. I attended 10:30am service where I was Crucifer, Lay Reader, Acolyte & LEM. I was the only one who showed up, along with Fr. Jim. It is really more than one person should do, as I did forget to open the gates after communion. I helped Anne with Coffee Hour. I did a little office work, since Fr. Jim will be gone next week.
~I spent a few hours researching my costume for Halloween. I'm going with a version of Alice from Resident Evil Extinction. Of course, I won't have all that skin exposed nor cost that much LOL! I'll be looking for the parts tomorrow at the 1/2-price sale at the Family Thrift Center.

~Mike drove me to work. I was able to do some stewardship stuff for JH(he brought me chocolate!) before printing out the bulletins. I attended the St. Elizabeth's Guild meeting, giving a talk on the Food Fair & Bazaar.
~Date Nite: After warmups, we did precision drills at the 3-5-7-10-15 yard lines. The first drill was untimed & I came in second. After that, it was timed & I didn't do as good (timer anxiety!). I learned that I was not drawing smoothly in one stroke, so I practiced and had a new fast time at the 10-yard line at 1.86! Woo Hoo!!
