Peace

There will always be those predators in society who will take down the oldest, smallest or weakest in the herd. Even the odds.

~We got groceries at Walmart.

~We attended 8:00 A.M. service. Mike stayed for Coffee Hour, then went to work. I attended 10:30 A.M. service where I was Crucifer and Acolyte.

~I started a Butterfly Pinafore in Caron Simply Soft Grey Heather, but it only made it to 5 rows on the skirt. I frogged it. I did finish the Sensations shawl. It turned out really pretty!

~I made Mike a meatball wrap for supper.

~I got Food Pantry groceries at Walmart & Smiths, along with some for ourselves, at Albertson's. I dropped them off, then went to Big Lots for applesauce. They were out of peanut butter. I dropped off Kiss my Pig cookies for the Napa Boys.

~Back home, I finished the load of laundry Mike started yesterday, swept the floors, sorted tea bags into snack bags.

~I made a Button Medallion Choker in Cardinal Red.

~I made Mike a grilled cheesy hotdog wrap for supper.

~Mike took me to work & did some sealing on the shingles. I got bulletins printed & done early. Gave away 10 bags at the Food Pantry. Had cake at the St. Elizabeth's Guild meeting then left.

~Date Nite: After warmups, we concentrated on feeling the trigger.

~Mike drove me to the office & he spent the morning replacing shingles on the church roof. I paid bills, worked on bulletins for the rest of the month & started the May newsletter.

~I finished the Two-tone Roseburg hat in Emberglow/Rockwood Clay & made a solid Roseburg Hat in Redheart Supersaver Cafe.

~We has sausage omelet wraps for supper.

~I started a Roseburg Hat in Emberglow, but ran out before completing the last 2 rows of the brim. I will add Rockwood Clay for a "spectator" hat.

~Mike closed the store.

~I stopped by Big Lots for a few things & found peanut butter "singles", 8-count for $1! I got 5 packs for the Food Pantry & will get more on Friday, if they still have it. Great price! I helped load bags at the Food Pantry & called in Payroll.

~Back home, I made Oatmeal bars, but instead of using jam, I used a can of apple pie filling. We'll see how it works! I also did a load of laundry, swept the floors & sorted the rest of the sugar.

~I made a Butterfly Pinafore in Caron Simply Soft Autumn Red & started a Prayer Shawl in Jo-Ann Sensations Rainbow Boucle Pink.

~I made Mike a cheesy chicken bacon wrap for supper.

~We got groceries at Walmart, came home & put them away, then helped with putting out extra tables/chairs in the Parish Hall.

~We went early to help with set up, then attended 10:30 A.M. service. Mike was usher while I was Crucifer and Acolyte. We had four Baptisms! We had lunch in the parish hall.

~We helped out at CCW class.

Scarf Sold!!

~I attended Daughters of the King & helped out a little after with Altar Guild.

~I made 2 round Pineapple Upside-down Cakes & made the Confetti Cupcakes fancy by adding white icing, colored coconut "grass" & pastel candy-coated chocolates. They are cute! I also cooked up a pound of sausage & sorted vegetables.

~I made Mike a hot ham/cheese wrap for supper.

~I went early to Walmart and Smith's for Food Pantry groceries, delivering them to the church. I stopped by Big Lots for a few more groceries.

~Back home, I sorted sugar into baggies & swept the floor.

~At church I served as Lay Reader at The Seven Last Words of Christ service. Deacon Sam reads this story at the "It is finished" section. It reminds me of who I was & who I am.

~We had pepperoni omelet wraps for supper.

~Mike took me to work. I finished stuffing eggs before starting bulletins. With 4 baptisms on Sunday, I made times more bulletins then usual. We gave a way 15 bags at the Food Pantry. I helped take down banner & change the altar hangings.

~Date Nite: I carried the 1911. After warmups, we shot in the dark with flashlights, on the move.

~Mike took me to work, helping me put away Food Pantry items & taking a load of shingles up on the roof. It was busy all day, paying bills, printing out bulletins for the Holy Week services & typing out certificates for those being baptized on Sunday, as well as their sponsors. Only stuffed a few eggs.

~I finished the Gray heather Durango Hat.

~We had meatball sandwiches for supper.

Snow!

~At the office, I worked on regular Sunday bulletins, along with Tennebrae, Maundy Thursday & Good Friday bulletins. I stuffed a few eggs. It ended up snowing most of the day, but was melted by 3pm.

~At home, I sorted sugar & rice into baggies for the Food Pantry.

~We had sausage egg wraps for supper.

~I started a Durango Hat in unknown Grey Heather.

~I stopped at Big Lots (applesauce, pineapple rings, baggies & Tangos)before heading up to the church to help load food bags.

~Back home, I made 2 dozen confetti cupcakes which I will decorate for the Easter bake sale. I also cooked up a pound of bacon, sorted noodles into baggies & also some dry beans, for the food pantry.

~I didn't crochet all afternoon, just watched TV & napped.

~I made Mike a grilled cheesy hotdog wrap for supper.

~I worked on the Fall Leaves lap blanket.

I accidentally left out 1 cup of rice cereal when I made this batch. They turned out more dense, but still yummy!

~We got groceries at Walmart.

~Mike & I attended 8:00 A.M. service together. He then went to work. I stayed & talked with Fr. Daniel, our guest. I attended 10:30 A.M. service where i served as Crucifer, "Evangelist" of the Passion narrative , Acolyte & Lay Eucharistic Minister. After coffee hour, Anne, Kristen & me put Easter Sunday flyer's on neighborhood doors.

~I made a Boa Scarf in Premier Jasmin (fur) Dove gray/Caron Wintuk Rosewine. I also made a Bottineau Hat in the same yarns.

~We had pepperoni omelet wraps for supper.
