  3. Greetings Catherine:
I have been away from your site for some time, and when I returned it appeared your site name had changed. I was surprised to see that you advertise firearms. I do not recall that you were doing so earlier. Is there a particular reason for doing this? I note that you share your Catholic religion, which is refreshing as well. I am dismayed at the bashing and neutralizing attempts toward followers of Christianity and Catholicism and the denial of Jesus. (This is my rant). Our family has become more outspoken about these sinister and insidious attacks. At Christmas time especially, we make a point of wishing everyone Merry Christmas, since this day reflects the birth of the Christ Child and not the birth of Christmas trees and Mall Frenzy shopping for objects which provide instant gratification. Sorry for the rant. Good to see you are still on site. Your hats continue to be a creative reflection of your spirit. I am however curious regarding the fire arms advertising. I understand there is real and random danger for women especially. Here in Rhode Island Two mothers of young children were murdered by their husbands; one on Christmas morning, the second mother one day after Christmas. I wonder if a firearm would have prevented their own death, yet caused the death of their husbands. While this would be justified as self defense, our legal system continues to be bias toward women who kill in self defense or otherwise. I am thrilled to see that you are sold out of your lovely hats. All the best.Wishing you the best in the New Year. Rosemary

  4. Rosemary,

    I don't "advertise" firearms, I am a proponent of the Second Amendment & Concealed-Carry.

    I am an Episcopalian,not a Catholic.

Firearms are for protection, not killing. You continue to fire until the bad guy stops fighting. Every person should be able to defend themselves against those who would harm them, whether family or stranger. Better a bad guy be eliminated than an innocent person perish.
