Another layer of protection

Fairbairn Sykes Hide Away Knife-The idea of this knife is the loop fits around the fingers so it can't be taken away from you. When it is sheathed, it also is not obvious as a knife, looks more like a carabiner. A perfect addition to my "arsenal".

~I went to church early & talked to some of the 8am people to get interest in The Prayer Shawl Ministry. Barbara needs a refresher course(hasn't crocheted in a few years) & Sarah wants to learn granny squares(she travels alot). Another lady crochets & wants my Diamond Prayer Shawl pattern. After the 10:30am mass, Kristen wants to learn crochet(already knows how to knit), Susan said she would make shawls & Beryl said she would make shawls/lap blankets after she finishes a layette. WooHoo!!

~Back home, I made a Sedona Hat in 2-strands RH Plush in Light Celery(from Susan)/Medium Purple(from Anne),adding aflower pin in Purple.

~Mike got off work early & we went down to Caliber's to help Randy with the CCW class. Along with 4 other "Date Nite" guys & Mimi(Randy's lady), we watch to make sure the shooters are being safe & can hit the target to qualify. It was appreciated by the others that I was there, since there were 5 ladies in the class.

  1. We have a couple of Fairbairn-Sykes knives. Do you know their history, it is quite interesting? That is a nice looking weapon.
